Sometimes we meet primordial archetypes in dreams..

Last night I met a shadow feminine archetype

She looked like Elizabeth I and was called 'The White Lady'

For me and my partner to carry on our journey in the dream, He (my inner masculine) had to face her.

She couldn't be looked at by woman; They would go mad and forgot everything.

But the masculine has to look at her for a minute, Without getting drawn in to her realm. . . . This is a very potent image of the feminine.

She who dwells in death And wishes to take the masculine with her into the dark lair.

Queen of the underworld, the dark, the cold... Ice

For woman to identify with this aspect fully, Is to lose herself and her ability to love.

But at the same time,

If man is to love woman;

If the inner masculine in to unite with the inner feminine:

The 'White Lady' must be acknowledged.

At times this aspect might show up in a woman; Her pain, trauma and fear threatening to destroy all she has.

The White Lady may come to take her lover away.

And he must look and see her,

Without following her into the dark.

My words to my partner in the dream were

"Remember who you are,

Remember who I am." . . . Can we look at our beloved's, and our own, shadow And love through it,

Stay with it,

And remember them, remind them...

Remember ourselves . . .
